IDENTITY

Whilst inheriting the existing logotype, we focused on creating a new, distinct brand identity that would communicate Fellowship's core values and reflect the platform's innovative approach to showcasing, educating and supporting Photography in the Web3 space. The Monument Grotesk family forms the brand's foundation, perfectly blending art world aesthetics with modern technology traits.

WEBSITE

Our solution took a minimal, contemporary approach that deviates from the typical trends associated with blockchain and Web3 technology. By focusing on clean lines and white space, we created a platform which allows the high-quality visuals to take centre stage.

USER EXPERIENCE

The challenge was to balance the visual aesthetic with Web3 features to build a design-led and highly functional platform. This was achieved by creating an immersive visual experience that allows users to engage with the artists and imagery on a deeper level, whilst integrating 3rd party platforms to streamline the purchasing, bidding and enquiry process.

CONTENT

An accompanying journal section provides valuable editorial content, introducing artist interviews, behind-the-scenes, and essays exploring the intersection of photography, technology, and culture, creating a more engaging and holistic experience.

Founded and funded by photographers, curators and collectors, Fellowship are championing the future of photography. They present a new way to discover, collect and learn about photography by exhibiting NFTs from marquee estates, living artists and emerging talent. Recent collections include Guy Bourdin, Todd Hido, Pieter Hugo, Gregory Crewdson, and August Sander, to name a few.

Six were tasked with developing Fellowship's brand identity, implementing a comprehensive approach to all aspects of the brand across print and digital. The strategic goal was to create a forward-thinking and innovative digital platform that introduced a fresh approach to discovering and collecting photography, opening up new avenues for artists to connect with a wider audience.
